The winner of the grand prize, the Queen Mathilde Prize in the 2016 Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition, Lukas Vondracek returns to Cape Town in the piece that won him the prize! The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the stage for their first concert in 2017, after successful, sold out performances in 2016. The concerts will take place on the 14th and 15th of June at 20h00 at the Linder Auditorium, and will be conducted by Yasuo Shinozaki, featuring the ever popular DECODA Ensemble, an affiliate ensemble of Carnegie Hall in New York.
