Event Type: On Stage, Comedy
They say life begins at 40. Riaad Moosa is turning 40 so he invites the audience to join in figuring out whether life really does begin at 40. This award-winning comedian, presenter, writer and actor happens to be a qualified medical doctor as well! Also known as `the Comedy Doctor`, he is one of the country`s most popular and acclaimed funny men with a style all of his own and he certainly seems to have the remedy for the nation`s ills - a healthy dose of laughter, straight up - hold the aspirin. Moosa starred as Ahmed Kathrada in the Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated movie Mandela - Long Walk to Freedom and he played the lead in the internationally acclaimed movie Material (which he co-wrote and which earned him the 2013 SAFTA Best Actor award).
